I've got new hosting with my own domain now Tapi sepertinya sayang untuk menutup blog lamaku di kidy.blogspot.com. It's has so many stories (ceileee) Selain itu, setiap postingan yang aku buat di blogspot akan otomatis di replikasi ke nuykidy.multiply.com. Yea, double backup :P Nah sekarang jadi kepikiran, gimana caranya posting sekali saja dari sini tapi otomatis muncul di kidy.blogspot.com and hopefully juga akan muncul di nuykidy.multiply.com juga? Setelah bermain dengan grep akhirnya ketemu file mana yang perlu di hack. After adding 4 lines of simple PHP codes, voilla! ... it's all done. Sebenarnya ga harus 4 line sih, 1 line juga cukup ... tapi nanti codenya little bit messy :P

Why bother? That's what I thought

I feel comfortable with blogger.com/blogspot.com, I've made some widgets to post my blog using mms/sms direct to my account, and did some other stuff. I dont wanna also be called "victim" of youknowwho (an IT geek wanna be but end up making silly comments).

Well, I just bought a (used) Dell D600, finish installing Ubuntu 7.04. Everything work fine, and i will give that notebook to my brother in Malang the next few weeks. Back to my Thinkpad and online using 3G :) Reading some articles, blogwalking and hei ... from and old post in yunar34.blogsome.com, i got an offer to use a dreamhost free coupon worthed $97.

Go to dreamhost and look for the hosting packages. Read read read, ok it says the platform is Debian Linux and it saves 20% if I register for 2 years. Then i chose Level 1 Package "Crazy Domain Insane" for 2 years subscription.

Have to pay about $93 via Visa+Google :) And here it is my first shell @nemesis. Cool servername .. nemesis

Eh, dah sembuh :D

Hehehehehehe, setelah minggu kemarin didera flu, weekend kemarin flunya dah sembuh. Yah gitu deh, minum obat flu plus banyak2 istirahat ma minum aer putih :P Tapi sepertinya me getting better setelah jalan kaki pulang ngantor selama puasa. Mayan 30 menit jalan kaki everyday.
Trus kabar baiknya, dah dapat konfirmasi pesenan tiket mudik hehehehehehe. Karena ga ada flight direct ke Malang (ada sih kalo dari Jakarta, tapi dah fully booked), akhirnya pilih turun Surabaya ajah. It means ... i'm gonna have another roadtrip Surabaya-Malang seperti tahun kemarin.
Nah ini masih bingung, mo naek bis pa minta tolong teman-teman di Surabaya untuk nyariin travel. Terakhir ke Surabaya pas wedding partynya Vera n JB, waktu itu adikku nyamperin ke bandara buat ngambil laptop (dari pada shipping, nanti kenapa-kenapa belum lagi ribet ngambilnya). Mereka bilang Malang - Sby lumayan lancar naek bis, sekitar 2 jam. Tapi Surabaya-Malang sekitar 3 jam lebih krn macet di porong.
Duh ... mengingat kayanya flightnya bakal capek n buru2 pingin sampe Malang, better call Surabaya for help :P

I am feeling terrible today. I got cold in past 3 days. After taking medicine, no more fever, headache, sore throat. But still get the runny nose ... ewww. This nose thing made me feel very very uncomfortable :( Couldn't sleep well (how could you when you hardly able to breathe because something is "blocking" you nose when you're laying down).
Arrrghhhh, Ramadhan is coming in 2 days and I'm not recover yet :(

Luciano Pavarotti was an Italian tenor and one of the best known contemporary vocal performers in the world of opera and across multiple musical genres. His vibrant high C's and ebullient showmanship made him the most beloved and celebrated tenor since Caruso and one of the few opera singers to win crossover fame as a popular superstar. But today (Sept 6, 2007), the great tenor has died at age of 71.

Earthquake Effect

Last night (right on midnight) we had an erathquake. Based on information from USGS, it was magnitude 7.5. Local authorities claim it was only magnitude 7. Ew ... whatever.
I felt it was quite strong and made me feel dizzy and lost balance for a while. Without thinking any longer, i ran off the house and stay outside with other peoples. Waiting everything back to normal. And after about 10 to 15 minutes, we returned inside the house.

This morning i spotted some cracks in the wall of my office building.

Dagelan 17an

Biasanya setiap kali mendekati tanggal 17 Agustus selalu banyak kegiatan yang ditujukan untuk memperingati hari kemerdekaan ini. Mulai dari bakti sosial, karnaval, kegiatan seni hingga lomba-lomba just for fun.
Tapi negara yang tengah dilanda bencana ini sempat kaget (beberapa), tertawa terpingkal-pingkal, ngenes, senyum atau apalah. Gara-garanya ada sebuah dagelan superlucu yang saya analogikan sebagai parodi National Treasure, Takedown combo dengan Srimulat. Dagelan ini ramai dipublikasikan di berbagai media, baik itu media cetak maupun media elektronik (including internet).
Aih aih aih, inilah akibatnya kalo media hobi mengutip peryataan yang ga quotable dari orang yang terlanjur ditahbiskan sebagai seorang pakar oleh media sendiri tanpa melihat kompetensi teknisnya.
Ah embuhlah ... kata iklan tv "mulutmu harimaumu"

Wahahahaha .... benar-benar deh jadi dagelan of the year.

The PHP development team hereby announces that support for PHP 4 will continue until the end of this year only. After 2007-12-31 there will be no more releases of PHP 4.4. We will continue to make critical security fixes available on a case-by-case basis until 2008-08-08. Please use the rest of this year to make your application suitable to run on PHP 5.

Betapa kacaunya ticketing Piala Asia di Jakarta

Sudahlah, buang semua tuh pernyataan-pernyataan indah pengurus ticketing Piala Asia. Bullshit semua kata gue. Kecuali pertandingan Indonesia - Bahrain yang tiketnya telat dikirim dari Malaysia karena mesti nginep dulu di spore, plus di pabean (AFC geblek juga). pertandingan berikutnya ticketing makin kacau.
Dan puncak kekacauan adalah pertandingan terakhir Grup D antara Indonesia - Korsel. Pertandingan hidup mati yang menentukan nasib timnas Indonesia bisa lolos ke babak selanjutnya seperti Vietnam apa ga ini kembali tercoreng. Kali ini ulang panitia ticketing yang konon kabarnya udah di take over total oleh PSSI, bukan LOC AFC lagi. Dan seperti yang bisa ditebak sodara-sodara ... makin kacau balau ga keruan.
Mumpung 2 hari ini di Jakarta, disempatin nyanggong ke GBK. Nol besar, cuman bisa kepanasan, ngedumel, di pingpong sana sini. Brengsek *&$@!($#(!$($E01
Kamis ke gedung squash mo booking tiket Indonesia - Korsel. Tidak dilayani dengan berbagai dalih omong kosong. Tiket di jual di loket langsung. What the f..... ?
Pesan seminggu sebelumnya pun ga dilayani ????
Karena weekend ada urusan di Surabaya maka cuman bisa cari tiket hari senin selasa ini. Senin ke sana ... loket dibuka jam 2an (banyak yg udah antri dari jam 7) ... baru berdiri beberapa menit tiket sudah habis. Brengsek!!!! habis gimana????? emangnya loket cuman jual tiket 20lembar apa? sementara calo-calo dah nawarin tiket di jalanan. F**k!!!!!
Dan hari ini kembali terulang. Kejadian yang sama, cuman plus kekacauan di depan kantor PSSI. Ratusan orang yang kesal karena dipermainkan waktu mo beli tiket dah siap menyerbu markas PSSI deh tuh kayanya. Mereka protes, mo dukung timnas ajah kok susah banget. Ini di kandang sendiri pula, dan jelas-jelas ada indikasi permainan tiket. Untung saja mereka walau ribut-ribut tapi tertib, tidak anarkis. Dan setelah beberapa saat (sejam kali) ribut-ribut itu mereda walo mereka masih tetap ngumpul depan PSSI. Entah deh mereka dikibulin apa lagi sampe bisa diem kaya gitu.
Ada temen nyeletuk kaya gini "Tiketnya ga bisa dikorupsi cak, jumlahnya dah fix, fisiknya liat ndiri kan? satu-satunya yang bisa dimaenin ya distribusinya. liat ajah tuh, kita susah2 ngantri ga dapat apa-apa tapi calo berkeliaran, bahkan bisa nitip orang dalam dengan harga calo juga. Jadi yah dicaloin sendiri ama yang ngurusin tiket"
Dan dengan senyum getir saya sepertinya harus setuju dengan komentar teman tersebut. Akhirnya demi mendukung timnas saya dan beberapa temen bli tiket harga calo tersebut ... dari orang "dalem" kenalan salah seorang teman. Kategori 2, Rp. 75rebu kami tebus seharga Rp. 100.000.
Brengsek! Panitia, khususnya PSSI yg handle ticketing mesti kuliah management yang bener neh. Jangan modal MC doang.


Suasana depan gedung Squash, mo nukar kwitansi pembelian tiket

Bresngseknya, di gedung ini seorang petugas (ibu-ibu) mengatakan tiket tidak ada yang model booking (bayar di depan). Semua harus bli di tiket box. Lha ini apa buktinya? Banyak yang bisa booking gitu kok ..(*^@)$%)!%$(@%($%@!)$%

Protes di depan kantor PSSI. Kasihan bapak-bapak tentara itu. Mereka harus pasang badan gara-gara ketidak-becusan pengurus. Segala sesuatu kalo tidak dikerjakan oleh ahlinya emang hanya akan membawa kekacauan seperti ini. Untung bapak-bapak tentara itu ramah-ramah dan enak diajak ngobrol.

Akhirnya terpaksa merogoh kocek Rp.100ribu untuk tiket kategori 2 berharga Rp. 75ribu ini. Kutu kuprettttttttttttttttt.

Sabtu - Minggu ini saya kembali menjejakkan kaki (ceileee) di Surabaya. Setelah sekian tahun lamanya saya tidak maen di kota ini, paling numpang landing/take off pesawat ajah :P
Bandara barunya keren ... luas .. malah menurut pendapat pribadi saya lebih bagus dari bandara cengkareng. Musholla-nya gede, tempat makan banyak, toilet bersih. Yang ga nahan ya hawanya itu. Panas, kering hehehehehe. Tapi masih mending sih dibanding Hongkong di bulan Agustus, meleleh deh kita.
Nah tujuan ke Surabaya ini untuk menghadiri pesta perkawinan Vera vs JiBi :P Nama bapak ini aslinya Jean-Baptise Voisin, cuman panggilannya JB. Akadnya sendiri dilangsungkan ke Perancis, si Vera emang niat mo bikin saya bunuh diri deh biar bisa ke Perancis lagi. I miss Parisssssssssssss :-((

Ah udah ah skip skip skip.

Nginep di Ibis bareng Decy, Linthon, Budi (yg nyusul 2 ponakannya dulu). Begitu nyampe, taruh tas langsung klayapan wisata kuliner. Si Linthon udah memohon-mohon untuk segera cari makan karena cacing-cacing di perutnya udah demo menuntut haknya. Ga jauh dari Ibis ada warung lontong balap. Namanya Lontong Balap Rajawali. Pesan 3 porsi.

Trus si Linthon ngelihat ada sate kerang bumbu kecap (mungkin karena sama-sama item jadi dia lebih peka). Order deh 2 porsi (2 ikat sate kerang tepatnya). Karena saya dah terbebas dari trauma makan kerang (waktu kecil pernah keracunan, sehingga tiap kali makan kerang pada gigitan kedua saya pasti muntah2) langsung ambil satu tusuk, n obok2 si bumbunya. Makan satu tusuk .... nyam.

Senyum saya hanya bertahan 2 detik sebelum melotot sambil ngembat es beras kencur sekali teguk. Sampe es batunya saya makan. Busettt, itu bumbu pedasnya minta ampunnnnnnn, makanan terpedas yang pernah saya makan 10 tahun terakhir. Decy & Linthon bernasib sama setelah sebelumnya sempat mentertawakan saya. Lagian masa pedas dilawan ama krupuk?

Gak lama kemudian pesanan lontong balap datang. Ternyata lontong balap = kecambah/tauge + lontong + potongan tempe kacang goreng + kuah. Ga nendang kata Linthon. Setuju :)

Habis ngemil lontong balap, kita jalan-jalan ke arah JMP. Masuk ke Kya-Kya. Kya-Kya tuh pasar malam di kawasan pecinan (Chinatown) di Jl. Kembang Jepun. Di sepanjang jalan ini isinya toko-toko yang menjual berbagai macam makanan baik masakan Tionghoa, makanan khas Surabaya maupun makanan lainnya. Kya-kya katanya berarti "jalan-jalan". Walking around, berpusing-pusing :D Cuman karena masih jam 1 siang, ya belum pada buka yang jualan. Akhirnya sepakat mo lanjut ke daerah Masjid Sunan Ampel, mo nyari yg jual nasi kebuli + kambing madu sekalian Ashar. Cuman dasar si Linthon yg ternyata dapat info dari acara tipi, kita malah ga nemu tempat makannya. Blah :P Cuman "mblasuk-mblasuk" di Ampel, window shopping diiringi lagu lama dari Gombloh almarhum.

Seperti saya tulis diposting sebelumnya bahwa Luis Garcia "pulang" kembali ke Athletico Madrid. But the story is not over yet.

Setelah lulus tes medis di Anfield, Fernando Torres dijadwalkan untuk menandatangi kontrak dengan Liverpool pada hari Rabu sore ini (waktu Inggris tentunya). Nilai kontraknya sendiri sekitar £ 26.5 juta (24juta untuk Athletico Madrid, sisanya untuk Torres sendiri). Gaji yang ditawarkan pun sekitar £ 90ribu /minggu. Sekitar Rp. 1.6 milyar. Wow.

Mungkin ini rekor transfer fantastis yang pernah dibuat Liverpool. Rekor transfer yang pernah dibuat The Reds setahu saya adalah waktu mengambil Djibril Cisse dari Auxerre tahun 2004 dengan nilai £14 juta. Dan musim ini dia dipastikan dilego dengan bandrol sekitar £ 6juta.

Seiring meredupnya pamor Raul Gonzales, Fernando Morientes dan beberapa nama besar striker senior Spanyol lainnya, Fernando Torres (dan juga David Villa) adalah aset penyerang tumpuan utama timnas negeri matador tersebut.

Carrefour & Salah Harga

Tahukah bahwa salah satu jaringan swalayan modern asal Perancis ini sering mendapat keluhan dari customernya soal salah harga ? Baik media cetak konvensional maupun internet sering memberitakan hal ini.
Nah Minggu kemarin saya mengalami hal ini. Karena sedang di Jakarta n pas weekend, trus ga ada ide mo ngapain, saya klayapan ke Ambasador. Maem siang, beli komik trus ke Carrefour. Setelah muter-muter, di bagian penjualan pheriperal komputer saya nemu screen protector buat LCD monitor (bisa untuk LCD desktop/laptop). Price tag menyebutkan harganya Rp. 99.900, jadilah saya ambil 2 lembar. Nah pas sampai di kasir, harga 2 lembar LCD screen protector tadi ternyata Rp. 220.000. What the .... jadi satu lembar Rp.110.000 bukan Rp. 99.900 seperti yang ada di price tag. Sayapun mengajukan protes ke kasir. Dan kasir menyarankan saya untuk ke customer service.
Sebelum ke customer service, saya masuk lagi untuk re-check. Dan benar, harga 99.900. Saya foto price tagnya buat bukti. Pake 2 ponsel sekaligus :P Trus ke Customer Service, mengajukan klaim. Sang custcare kemudian memanggil petugas bagian peripheral komputer tersebut. Sang petugas datang dan dengan santainya bilang seperti ini:
"Mungkin itu harga pas masa promosi, sekarang promosinya sudah habis dan harganya belum diganti"
Saya cuman nyengir sambil bilang "Mas, kami para customer selalu dirugikan dengan alasan klise seperti yang barusan Anda bilang. Sejak kapan ada harga promosi untuk screen protector, saya tidak melihat tuh ada tag atau pengumuman promosi. Di bagian komputer yang tertulis harga promosi cuman mouse wireless. Ada stiker merah menyatakan hal tersebut. Dan jika memang salah harga, Anda semestinya meniru counter penjualan digital kamera yang masang pengumuman kalo ada salah harga pada beberapa tipe digicam canon. Yang ini ga ada, jadi jangan asal ngomong. Saya tidak terima"
Saya lihatin hasil potretan saya di ponsel, dan merekapun cuman bisa diem. Akhirnya si petugas kembali ke dalam untuk memeriksa harga. Ga berapa lama dia balik sambil membawa price tag seperti gambar di bawah. Petugas customer service langsung menyiapkan form complain, membuat report dan lain sebagainya. Dan selisih harga sebesar Rp. 20.200 tersebut dikembalikan ke saya :) Itu ongkos taksi pulang.
Jadi intinya, petugas customer service nya kooperatif, komplain dilayani dengan baik sekali. Cuman petugas bagian peripheral komputernya itu yang disayangkan. Tanpa check & re-check dia langsung asal bunyi ajah pake alasan klasik masa promosi udah abis. Promosi my a**.
Saya sepertinya tidak sesial customer lain yang komplainnya tidak "nembus". Hehehehe, apa mungkin karena saya punya bukti potretan di bawah ini yah? hehehehe. Sangat disayangkan jaringan swalayan segede Carrefour sering nyusahin customer gara-gara price tag tidak sesuai dengan cashier register mereka. Perlu dipertanyakan nih.
Jadi walo mungkin dianggap "kurang kerjaan", ga salah kalo kita mencatat barang2 yg kita beli, hitung totalnya. Ga usah bawa kalkulator, ponsel kalian bisa dipastikan ada kalkulatornya kan ? Kemudian cocokin daftar belanjaan kita dengan struk pembayaran. Kalo ada selisih, traceback lagi mana yang beda. Potret ajah tuh pricetag buat bukti :P
Tadinya kalo mereka masih berkelit, saya mo kirim surat pembaca ke Kompas plus foto2 tadi. Hehehehe.

Well, class today was about SIGTRAN and M3UA. Nice topic (refer to yesterday post :P ). Class finished on 12.00. On 2pm we had a visit to ZTE HQ along with another trainees from other countries. There, we're shown about ZTE market, their products from handset into next generation network. Short trip to the factory and so on. After 1 hour visit, next destination was Hua Qiang Bei.

This what I hate when travelling (in Indonesia we call it 'klayapan') downtown with too many people (8 men 2 ladies). Disaster... I think i wont go anywhere again except with only 4 people. And not with the ladies.

Rara is a very good example for a cooperative travel mate. She's easy going, no complicated mind when going to certain place. Unlike this ladies, full of mumbling and so on and so on.
*arrgghhh*

Hours in Hua Qiang Bei we, in this case was me, spent for nothing except sitting on the KFC and waiting for a minivan which bring us back to the university.

I failed to get Agus Suyanto's monopod and some IT stuff I've planned with Aang to find.

Shenzhen The Series: Day #3

2nd day training.
Today we're learning about SS7. Interesting topic because i almost know nothing about it. Just knew a little bit from network operation people. Our trainer is Zaka from Pakistan. He's speaking English very well, so it made class more comfortable :P

Like usually, training break on 12.00-14.00. Continue after that until 17.00.
Some people of my class plan to go to Dong Men but i couldn't join them. There were many SMS and missed calls in my cellphone. Means there's problem back in HQ. *sigh*

Gimme break guys .... I need to concentrate here with my training and you just messed it up *&%@)%)@.

Got dinner in the 2F building called Leisure Zone (there are also room for playing tennis table, poker, chess, billiard, karaoke even a gym). Back to my hotel and again ... be patient with the worst internet connection I've ever used in my life.

I managed to send a 500kb file after midnight ... you can imagine that. It's "broadband" connection they said. Pheww ...

Hmmm, day has changed ... MU has destroyed Roma 7-1 and won 8-3 on aggregat. That's enough for now, i need to sleep. Class begin on 9.00.

Shenzhen The Series: Day #2

Well, ZTE place actually is nice. Except the fact that is far away from downtown (+/- 25km), some people might feel a little bit isolated. Specially thos old babies .... *sigh*

Training start with introduction to GSM technology and then continue to the introduction of SMSC. Dont ask the trainer to have well english speaking skill like Hongkong people, but so far we can follow him. Most of :P

There are some terms and understanding that have been mixed up. We need to ask the trainer to make reference of every term he used with ITU, 3GPP and standards from other international telecommunication group.

Finally, we went to downtown. Get to know with the real life in Shenzhen. Yes, it is a busy and crowded city. My chinesse friend Yuan Cheng took us to a restaurant for dinner. Nice food, at least I eat 2 bowls of noodles + vegetables + chicken + fish :P He made fat every time i went to China with him.

Good news, internet connection is getting better today :) Horeeeee
Just finish testing voicechat via Y!M with Derry and my lovely girl Rara. Have no problem talking with Derry's Y!M, but couldn't do the same with Rara's :(

Shenzhen The Series: Day #1

Like usually, flying with Cathay Pacific is always good. Nice food, nice flight attendants.
Arrive on Hongkong around 2pm local time. After finishing all imigration stuff, got into the bus and continue the trip to Shenzhen. It took around 90-120 minutes. First stop in Hongkong border Immigration.

Next stop is China-Shenzhen Immigration ... 180 degree different from Hongkong. Phew .. old building, queue line messed up, and public toilet which can make you die just by its smell. There is a joke ... if you can smell the very very very very bad odour from public toilet .. then you're already in China mainland. Welcome :P

Shenzhen,first time here. I thought it will be another cities in China i've visited before, but it isnt. Old city industry.

We arrive at ZTE University around 5pm. Little bit cold, but it is nice weather actually. People in my groups start mumbling about the university location. They felt being placed in somekind of remote area. Middle of nowehere (no mall and place like that in radius 2km :P). I dont have problem with it. I'll just stay in Hongkong if it just for mall/shopping area. I need to learn about signalling and SMSC here.

Had dinner on 6pm, meet some guys from Iraq and Tajikistan who also have training here. Went back to hotel room and try the internet connection.

I'm impressed. Very very impressed.
For company like ZTE, the internet connection was totally and completely SUCKS!!!!!

*sigh*

Next destination: Shenzhen

Masya Alloh, mereka itu ga pernah taubat apa yah? Ga punya sense of crisis .. di tengah banyaknya orang memeras keringat banting tulang menghidupin keluarga, belum lagi yang kena bencana plus harus bayar pajak pula. Ini malah duit rakyat tadi diembat oleh orang-orang dari institusi yang sampe saat ini ga guna sama sekali.
Eh ada gunanya ding ... ya itu tadi ... hambur-hamburin duit rakyat :)

Long Lost Friends

Last night i worked overtime (again ... ) doing system migration from one data center to another. Feel a little bit boring, so i logged in to my friendster. Read messages, send birthday cards, etc etc. Then i search for whoever graduated from SD Banjararum 3. So I choosed search by school, enter Banjararum as keyword and then the list came out .. about 3 pages.
My eyes bumped into a nickname which was so familiar. Zubeth. Check on her profile, same SD, same SMP. Check on her age, yah .. it should be her. Then i sent her a message to confirm.
This morning i got reply ... it is her !!!! wahahahahahaha. Zubethhhhh (it as Jubeth actually) how are you, Sis ? Last time we met should be in 94 .. the day we graduated from SMPN 01 Singosari. So it's about 13 years now.
Gosh, just after i sent you that message, i feel like having flash back to the days in SD and SMP :)
FYI, Jubeth was always be number #1 in SD since 4th - 6th grade if i'm not mistaken. Bener ga, Beth ? Heuehueuehuehueu *yawn*

A Dark Morning in March

This morning, an airplane from Garuda Indonesia Airways (GA 200) caught fire as it landed at Yogyakarta. Based on TV report, there was sparkling fire ignited from front wheel when it's landing. The plane couldn't stop until the end of the runway then it burned. Some say the fire came from both part of the wings and also from tail (liputan6.com).
The Boeing 737-400 carried 140 passengers. It's reported that 76 people survived, with 66 taken to hospitals. The rest is still unknown. But it's also reported (i'm not sure it's officially or not) that dozens of passenger burnt to death in front area of the plane.

*sigh*

Liverpool finally made the way to the UCL quarter final. I hope MU will also join Liverpool.
